Dexter's SST patented VELCRO interchangeable sole system lets you swap your shoe's slide sole instantly to match any approach condition — from tacky to slippery, synthetic to wood — without adjusting your footwork or release. Each S-number sits on Dexter's official 1–12 Slide Value Guide (1 = minimum slide, 12 = maximum slide) and uses its own material: S2 Brown Microfiber (Extra-Short Slide), S3 Saw Tooth (Short Slide), S4 Red Leather (Short Slide), S5 Saw Tooth (Average Slide), S6 Blue Microfiber (Average Slide), S7 Saw Tooth (Long Slide), S8 White Microfiber — X-Large (Long Slide), S9 Saw Tooth — a three-zone hexagon design that rotates for a fast or slow approach (Longer Slide), S10 Grey Felt (Longer Slide), S11 Saw Tooth (Extra-Long Slide), and S12 Black Ice — the smoothest, longest slide of any Dexter sole, for the experienced stroker (Longest Slide).
